Sandness Community Development (SCD) is a community-owned and led organisation that works to improve life in a small, remote rural community. We run projects that bring benefit to local residents, provide activities to get involved in and build a sense of community.
We tackle bigger projects to help preserve our local assets and services; increase opportunities for rural regeneration, represent Sandness resident’s needs in local and national decision making and support other local groups to progress their work.
